Oakland Raiders
2013 draft picks:
1st round (3), 3(66), 4(100), 6(172, 176, 205) ), 7(209)

It's a complete mess in Oakland, as GM Reggie McKenzie tries to overhaul the Raiders roster on tight constraints. They have very little cap room and a ton of dead money.

I guess it best to begin with the offense and the quarterback situation. Carson Palmer refused to take a pay cut so Oakland dealt him to Arizona. In the meantime, they traded with Seattle for Matt Flynn. This is a gamble by McKenzie but he's quite familiar with this former Packer, as they were both in Green Bay at the same time.

The Raiders also signed running back Rashad Jennings. He was the backup to Maurice Jones-Drew in Jacksonville.

Two former No. 1 draft picks are no longer with Oakland. The Raiders cut ties with both wide receiver Darius Heyward-Bey and linebacker Rolando McClain. Speaking of defense the Raiders have had some turnover on that side of the ball. Defensive end Jason Hunter, defensive tackles Pat Sims and Vance Walker, linebackers Kaluka Maiava, Nick Roach and Kevin Burnett and cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Mike Jenkins have all signed with the Raiders. Meanwhile, Matt Shaughnessy defensive linemen Desmond Bryant and Tommy Kelly, linebacker Phillip Wheeler, and safety Michael Huff, Michael Mitchell and Usama Young are gone from Oakland.

Draft Needs
1) Defensive Tackle
The Raiders will have a big choice to make between Star Lotulelei and Shariff Floyd. Many believe it will be the former Gator. Oakland really needs two but they are limited on picks. If they go another position for this slot they could go get a tackle in the third round. They don't have a pick in the second or the fifth.

2) Cornerback
Oakland is likely more needy at corner than on the defensive line. But they signed veterans Jenkins and Porter. They likely bypass Dee Milliner in the first and most likely address their defensive front. Look for the Raiders to draft a corner in the third or fourth round.

3) Defensive End
Despite some free agent signings on the front the Raiders need to continue to address this area of the defense. It's looking more and more like they will look in the middle of the draft for this position unless they go for a player like Ezekiel Ansah in the first round.

4) Linebacker
Oakland inked three free agent linebackers. This is still a need area so look for the Raiders to grab at least one with their seven picks.

5) Quarterback
So the Raiders are going into the 2013 season with Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor? Flynn has a few quarters of meaningful playing time while Pryor has even less. McKenzie obviously has a good sense of Flynn's upside. But does that stop Oakland from drafting a signal caller?
