Streater placed on IR, designated to return

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie has announced that the team has placed wide receiver Rod Streater on the injured reserve list, but designated to return.

The title means that Streater can not practice for six weeks (Nov. 13), but will be eligible to return to the team in eight weeks (Nov. 27).

Streater played just three games for the Raiders this season before injuring his foot against the Patriots in week 3. The third-year wide receiver hauled in nine receptions for 84 yards and one touchdown.

The former undrafted free agent has hauled in 108 receptions for 1,556 yards and eight touchdowns since joining the Raiders.
