Raiders add a wide receiver to roster

The Raiders continue to revamp their offense by adding a wide receiver to the roster on Monday.

The Raiders claimed former Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins via waivers, according to Adam Schefter on Twitter.

Thompkins signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent before last year’s training camp, and drew noise because of his play in preseason and camp.

He then appeared in 12 games in his rookie year, hauling in 32 receptions for 466 yards and four touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the young wide receiver has only been active for two games this year. He has hauled in six receptions for 53 yards.
