Khalil Mack adds accolade to impressive year

Oakland Raiders rookie linebacker Khalil Mack was selected by USA to their 2014 All-Fundamentals Team.

The team honors 26 NFL players - 11 offense, 11 defnese and four special teams - who exhibit exemplifying football techniques for young players to emulate.

The sixth annual USA Football All-Fundamentals Team recognizes NFL players who employ proper technique, particularly blocking and tackling, which fosters better on-field performance and advances player safety.

Mack has been stellar in the run game, shedding blocks by establishing a good base and using quick hands to gain separations. He is also able to attack the inside or outside of an opponent while splitting blockers.

Each player chosen to the team will receive a $1,000 equipment grant from USA football to donat to the youth or high school football program of their choice.

This is just one of many accolades that it appears Mack will receive in his career.
