Raiders place CB Tarell Brown on IR

The Oakland Raiders announced another roster move on Saturday, signing linebacker Spencer Hadley from their practice squad.

In a corresponding move, general manager Reggie McKenzie announced that they have placed cornerback Tarell Brown on the reserve/injured list. The move leaves the Silver & Black without the two cornerbacks that were starters to begin the season, Brown and Carlos Rogers.

Brown was signed by the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent in March and totaled 66 tackles and 16 passes defensed in 14 games for the Raiders.

Hadley was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints in May 2014 before being waived in June. Oakland then signed him in August, before waiving him at the end of training camp and re-signing him to the team’s practice squad two days later. The 6-foot-1, 227-pounder played in 43 games over four seasons at BYU, totaling 149 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.
