Raiders interested in Scott Linehan

The Raiders continue to add names to their list of head coaching candidates, and the latest is Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Linehan helped call one of the league’s most dynamic offenses this year after joining the Cowboys last offseason. The move resulted in record-setting seasons for Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network says that Linehan is on a one-year deal in Dallas anyways, meaning he’ll be free to sign wherever he wishes when the season comes to an end, which could be as early as Sunday.

The Raiders will likely have some competition for Linehan’s services as the head coaching vacancies around the league have yet to be filled and a bright offensive mind like Linehan is always in high-demand.

We’ll keep you posted on the head coach search as it continues.
