Raiders request to talk to Pep Hamilton

The Oakland Raiders have added yet another name to the list of interview requests.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, the Raiders have requested permission from the Indianapolis Colts to speak with offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.

Hamilton has Bay Area ties, spending time as the offensive coordinator at Stanford with Andrew Luck in 2010-2012, as well as serving as the San Francisco 49er’s quarterbacks coach in 2006.

Hamilton has drawn interest from other teams around the league, but the Raiders hope that they may be able to use their location to lure in the former Bay Area resident.

We’ll keep an eye on the Colts postseason to see when he is available.
