This marks the first time that the Raiders have had multiple players to receive the honor since 2010, when three Raiders received the honors.
Mack, selected fifth-overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, started all 16 games for the Raiders, racking up 84 tackles, four sacks, four passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Ellis, also known as “Jelly”, was selected in the fourth round (107th overall) and played in all 16 games with 14 starts. He recorded 39 tackles and had one pass defensed.
Both players have shown that they can be valuable pieces for the Raiders to build around for the future.
