Year in Review: Derek Carr

A look at Derek Carr's 2014 season in the Silver & Black

Position: Quarterback

Stats: 58.1 percent, 21 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, 3,270 yards

Overview: The Raiders were ecstatic to have the opportunity to grab the young quarterback out of Fresno State in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft… and it paid off. Carr had a spectacular season, throwing for 3,270 yards and 21 touchdowns while completing 58 percent of his passes. He showed flashes of being a great quarterback all while dealing with a horrendous running game and offensive weapons that couldn’t help him much. The Raiders must find a way to continue his development moving forward, as it will be key to their future success.

2015 Roster Status (according to Spotrac.com): signed, $1,220,864
