Raiders reportedly ink LB Curtis Lofton

After already picking up a linebacker and a defensive tackle in free agency, Reggie McKenzie and the Raiders continued the overhaul of the defense on Wednesday.

The Raiders have reportedly signed veteran linebacker Curtis Lofton after he was released by the Saints earlier this week.

Lofton is 28 years old and has recorded at least 118 tackles in each of his last six seasons playing for New Orleans and Atlanta Falcons.

Lofton will likely fill the void in the middle of the Raiders’ 4-3 defense left by the departure of the injured Nick Roach, who previously played middle linebacker for the Raiders before suffering a concussion prior to last season.
