Raiders release Antonio Smith

The Oakland Raiders roster rebuild continued on Tuesday with the release of one of their veteran defensive lineman.

General manager Reggie McKenzie and the Raiders released Antonio Smith after signing him just one year ago.

Smith struggled against the run last year but did show signs of being a solid pass rusher. The 33-year-old finished the season with three sacks. The move will save the Raiders $3.2 million.

He also had 20 tackles to go with this three sacks.
