2015 Draft Profile: WR Jaelen Strong

A closer look at Arizona State’s Jaelen Strong and his draft profile.

Combine Numbers

40-yard dash: 4.44 seconds

Vertical jump: 42.0 inches

Broad jump: 123.0 inches

Should the Raiders attack the defensive line in the first round, Arizona State’s wide receiver Jaelen Strong is a strong candidate for a second-round pick.

Strong was a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist after starting 12 games and finishing with 82 receptions for 1165 yards and 10 touchdowns.

At 6-foot-2, 217-pounds, the wide receiver possesses a desirable combination of height and weight for an NFL wide receiver. Strong also played basketball in high school, giving him the ability to play with a defender close by.

Strong is still slightly raw at the position, which will mean he’ll need some development. Also lacks break-away speed.
