Raiders obtain additional draft picks

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie worked some magic and agreed to a couple of trades to move back in the fourth round and obtain additional picks.

In the trade with the Carolina Panthers, the Raiders traded their fourth-round selection (102nd overall) in exchange for the Panthers’ fourth-round pick (124th overall), fifth-round pick (161st overall) and seventh-round pick (242nd overall).

Shortly after, the Raiders traded the 124th overall pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to move back four spots to 128th overall. They gained an additional seventh-round pick (218th overall) in the process.

The Raiders now five remaining picks in the draft: 124th overall, 140th overall, 161st overall, 179th overall, 218th overall, 221st overall and 242nd overall.
