The club announced on Thursday that the team and the fourth-overall pick agreed to terms and he will head into this weekend’s rookie mini-camp signed.
Cooper is the first to sign of 10 draft picks to sign his rookie contract with the Raiders after being taken in the 2015 NFL Draft just last week.
Cooper was selected fourth overall after playing three seasons at Alabama and appearing in 40 games (30 starts). He left the Crimson Tide as the school’s most productive receiver, setting records with 228 receptions, 3,463 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns.
The Raiders also had Khalil Mack, their fifth-overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, signed to his rookie contract about a week after being signed as well. He, like Cooper, also signed the day before rookie mini-camp began last year.
