Raiders re-unite with CB Chimdi Chekwa

The Oakland Raiders’ roster is always changing, and Tuesday was no different as they reportedly brought in a familiar face.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Raiders have agreed to a contract to bring back cornerback Chimdi Chekwa.

Chekwa was originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round and spent four years with the team before signing with the New England Patriots in March. The Patriots then released him on Monday.

The former Ohio State Buckeye has 51 tackles, four passes defensed, and one forced fumble in 32 career games (four starts).

The Raiders have not announced the move.
