Position Battle: Running Back

There’s still a lot remaining to be ironed out with the Raiders in training camp, and that includes determining who the starting running back will be.

Latavius Murray comes back as the incumbent starter but the Raiders have also added veterans Roy Helu, Jr. and Trent Richardson. By all accounts, I don’t expect either of them to beat out Murray but it is worth noting that the starting job isn’t completely Murray’s yet since he has a lot to prove.

That said, it’s Murray’s to lose but the other players would have to be exceptional to overtake him.
