The Oakland Raiders got back another player on Monday, this time it was return man Trindon Holliday.
Holliday began training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but was on less than a week as the returned to the team on Monday.
The return of Holliday gives the Raiders another body to return punts and kicks, and likely the most capable. The Raiders drafted the speedster Andre Debose in the 2015 NFL Draft hoping he would be their return man, but he ruptured his achilles and is on the injured/reserved list. Shortly after, the team signed Holliday.
Holliday has made a living in the NFL as a return man. The key for the Raiders is that he can hold on to the ball, as he’s had some problems with fumbles in the past.
Holliday had a little bit of trouble with that on Monday, but it was his first day back and I expect for him to be a solid solution at the kick returning position.
