Raiders lose key offensive piece

The Oakland Raiders suffered a blow to their offense when they took on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night.

The Oakland Raiders have spent all offseason workouts searching for their starting right tackle, and it appears they just lost their potential starter.

Menelik Watson had been starting for the Silver & Black but left Sunday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury. At the time, the Raiders announced that he was out for the remainder of the game, but Watson tweeted at the end of the game that it was more serious.

Head coach Jack Del Rio will turn to the next man up now, which appears to be veteran Austin Howard.

The Raiders will also likely look at options on the waiver wire when teams cut down to 53-man rosters on Saturday.
