Second-year linebacker Khalil Mack led the team with two sacks and ProFootballFocuse.com rewarded him with the Raiders' highest rating on defense (7.6). Mack finished with a stellar pass-rushing rating of 4.6, while excelling on the rush defense (2.8).
Veteran defensive end Justin Tuck battled through a knee injury to get back on the field and finish with the second highest defensive rating for the Silver & Black (2.5). Much of this was due to his run defense, where he finished with a 1.3. Tuck also finished with three quarterback hurries and quarterback hit, good enough for a 1.0 pass rushing rating.
Veteran safety Charles Woodson got rewarded for his interception that ended the game, as he should have been. Woodson finished with a pass coverage rating of 2.3. Overall, Woodson finished with a rating of 1.6.
Defensive end Aldon Smith finished with just a -1.4 overall rating, much of it due to his two penalties where he finished with a rating of -1.8. He did finish with a pass rushing rating of 0.2 and a run defense rating of 0.7.
Cornerback Neiko Thorpe had a rough game in coverage, finishing with a coverage rating of -2.4. Overall, he was the lowest rated Raider with a -2.2 overall rating.
