Oakland Raiders linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong is reportedly under investigation, according to WTAE.
Armstrong allegedly “lifted his shirt, pounded on his chest and began barking” at a police dog before heading onto the field in the Raiders’ 38-35 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Former Raider and current sideline reporter Lincoln Kennedy told 95.7 The Game that the dog barked at Armstrong before Armstrong responded, noting that the dog’s handler had to pull the dog back.
According to multiple reports, Armstrong can face third-degree felony charges if convicted of the crime.
Armstrong was previously dismissed from the University of Miami’s football team for violations against the student-athlete policy.
