The Oakland Raiders selected rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper fourth-over in the 2015 NFL Draft and expected big things from him.
The young playmaker has lived up to the hype for the most part, though he struggled last week, catching just one pass for four yards against the Detroit Lions. On top of that, Cooper had a couple of drops that hindered the offense.
The Raiders have expressed confidence in their young receiver all along, and they were rewarded with another big game from Cooper as he returned to his usual form against the Titans on Sunday.
Cooper quickly became a big piece of the offense, hauling in Carr’s first pass of the game. In all, the former Alabama star hauled in seven receptions for 115 yards, though no touchdowns.
The fourth-overall pick now has 58 receptions on the year, resulting in 851 yards and four touchdowns.
