The Oakland Raiders are among three teams looking to relocate to Los Angeles and have their proposal due tomorrow. With no surprise, owner Mark Davis and the owners of the Chargers and Rams are expected to make their submission, as reported by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport provided a little more insight into the relocation saga, tweeting out information regarding the possible cost of a reloaction fee.
$550 million dollars is indeed a hefty cost, especially for Davis who lacks an additional source of income. It would seem more likely that the Rams and Chargers would be able to afford the relocation as they have more money coming in.
It will be interesting to see what happens as the saga progresses - the relocation vote expected to happen during the ownership meetings on Jan. 12-13.
