After the relocation committee recommended a joint stadium in Carson, Calif. between the Raiders and Chargers, the NFL owners took to a vote during the NFL owners meeting in Houston, TX.
Despite the relocation committee's recommendation, the owners voted against a move to Carson for the Chargers and Raiders during the first round of votes. The organizations needed 24 votes gain permission to move.
In fact, the Rams plan to Inglewood received more votes than be Carson plan
This certainly doesn't mean the team will be staying in Oakland, as there will likely be more of a push for the move to Carson.
