The NFL owners voted a couple of weeks ago to allow the Chargers and Rams to move to Los Angeles.
The Chargers still have until January of next year to decide if they want to move, but it looks like the spot in San Diego won't be vacant for too long if they do.
The decision to have the Chargers partner up with the Rams in a move to Inglewood left the Raiders the odd man out, still looking for a home. With no extension at the Coliseum next year, the Raiders have already reportedly looked into a move to San Antonio.
Now it looks like the Raiders could look into taking over the home of their AFC West rival, San Diego. ESPN's Adam Schefter cites a source saying that the move is "very viable."
It would be an interesting move as the Raiders would be departing one city where they haven't been able to get a new stadium for another city that couldn't keep their team.
It could very well be another leverage play by Mark Davis, but the message is clear: the City of Oakland must do something to keep the team or he would not have a problem leaving.
