The Raiders will reportedly talk with Coliseum personnel about a lease extension

With the Raiders on the outside looking in when it comes to relocating to Los Angeles, it appears more than likely that the Raiders will be playing in Oakland for 2016.

The Raiders have already reportedly looked into San Antonio and could explore San Diego, but their best option may just be to stay right where they were last season - O.Co Coliseum.

Now it appears Mark Davis and the Raiders will talk with the Coliseum to look into a possible lease extension, as they currently don't have a lease in place, according to Matt Artz and Rebecca Parr of the Bay Area News Group. They reportedly have a meeting scheduled for Monday.

“The Raiders and ourselves have agreed to sit down and have discussions about a lease extension,” Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority executive director Scott McKibben recently said.

The Chargers have until January of next year to accept their deal to move in with the Rams, and if not, the Raiders will have the opportunity.
