The Oakland Raiders will reportedly address their safety need in the draft

An already-thin position became much thinner when Future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson decided to hang up the cleats.

The Raiders were reportedly going after veteran safety Eric Weddle before he eventually signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Another name that popped up when talking about the Raiders and possible safeties was Arizona Cardinals strong safety Tony Jefferson, who is a restricted free agent. But Eddie Borsilli of Sirius XM Radio says they'll go a different direction.

The Raiders currently have safeties Nate Allen, Chris Hackett, Tevin McDonald and newly-signed Brynden Trawick are the only one presently on the roster.

Borsilli also says the Raiders will look at cornerbacks extensively during the draft process, something that shouldn't come as a surprise for Raiders fans.
