The Oakland Raiders added yet another defensive piece on Monday, signing free agent defensive end Damontre Moore.
Moore joins the Silver & Black after stops with the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins. He was drafted in the third round (81st overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Giants, but was claimed on waivers last season by the Dolphins. In three seasons, Moore has played in 45 games and totaled 50 tackles, 9.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four passes defensed.
He played in 11 games for the Giants last year, and then three games for Miami. He set career highs in 2014, playing in 16 games and totaling 24 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
