The Oakland Raiders have signed two new wide receivers

The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent wide receivers Robert Herron and Nathan Palmer, the club announced Tuesday.

Herron joins the team after stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins. He originally signed with the Bucs as an undrafted free agent in May 2014 and played in eight games his rookie season, posting six receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown. The 5-foot-9, 195-pounder then joined the Dolphins and was on their practice squad for 2015, but was waived last season.

Palmer originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers in May 2012 and has appeared in five games. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound receiver has also spent time with the Colts, Dolphins, Broncos, Patriots and Bears over his career. Most recently, Palmer spent time on the practice squads of New England and Chicago last season.

In order to make room for the new receivers, the Raiders have waived/injured WR Andre Debose and waived QB Garrett Gilbert.
