A look at the Raiders wide receiver position

A look at the Oakland Raiders wide receiver position as the team is set to start training camp.

The Oakland Raiders are set to begin training camp in the end of July. To prepare, here's a quick positional breakdown of the wide receivers.

On the roster: Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, Seth Roberts, Andre Holmes, K.J. Brent, Marvin Hall, Joe Hansley, Johnny Holton, Max McCaffrey, Jayden Mickens, Nathan Palmer

Projected starters: Amari Cooper & Michael Crabtree

Analysis: The Oakland Raiders added a dynamic wide receiver last offseason by signing veteran Michael Crabtree and drafted former Alabama star Amari Cooper, who became the first Raiders receiver to haul in 1,000 yards for the first time since Randy Moss did it in 2006. General manager Reggie McKenzie re-signed Crabtree this offseason to a four-year deal, making sure to keep the duo together.

Seth Roberts emerged was another dangerous receiver out of the slot last year, hauling in 32 receptions for 480 yards and five touchdowns. He proved to be a good complimentary piece to Cooper and Crabtree and will look to be a big part of the offense again this year.

McKenzie signed many undrafted free agent receivers this year: K.J. Brent, Marvin Hall, Joe Hansley, Johnny Holton, Max McCaffrey and Jayden Mickens. All have looked good in the offseason workouts, which means McKenzie may have some tough decisions when the first cut comes around in August.
