The Oakland Raiders permanent home may be in question, but one thing is for sure: the team will play another home game in Mexico City as they host the New England Patriots next season.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement Wednesday on at his press conference in Houston in advance of Super Bowl LI.
The exact date and time of the game will not be released until the spring when the NFL schedule is released.
This will be the second-straight year that the Raiders will play in Mexico after earning a 27-to-20 win over the Houston Texans in November, with a sellout crowd of over 76,000 fans on Monday Night Football.
"We have a tremendous fan base in Mexico," Goodell said. "Their passion for football is inspiring, and we look forward to another memorable game in Mexico City between two great teams next season."
This Patriots will play their first-ever regular-season game in Mexico.
