The Oakland Raiders made coaching changes on Thursday

The Oakland Raiders made coaching changes this offseason, including adding defensive mind John Pagano to the staff while also letting offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave walk and promoting former quarterbacks coach Todd Downing to the position.

Things became a little clearer on Thursday when the team released their official roster for the new year and changed their coaching staff roster.

The biggest replacement comes after former defensive backs coach Marcus Robertson took a job with the Denver Broncos, but will be replaced by Rod Woodson, who will coach the cornerbacks.

Brent Vieselmeyer will coach the safeties, and Travis Smith will attend to the outside linebackers coach. Nick Holz is the assistant receivers coach. Nate Tice will be an offensive quality control coach. Tice is the son of offensive line coach Mike Tice.
