Trestman headed for Miami

Trestman off to Miami

While most of the Oakland Raiders coaching situation search centers around the head man, they will be seeking a new offensive coordinator as well.

Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Norv Turner has interviewed as the Raiders head coach but has not been named yet. Marc Trestman spent the past three seasons as the Raiders offensive coordinator and was hired by Miami as its quarterbacks coach.

The 48-year old Trestman is the third Raiders assistant to leave since the end of the season, when the team dismissed Bill Callahan. Former quarterbacks coach Jim Harbaugh left to assume the head- coaching position at the University of San Diego, and the New York Giants hired Mike Waufle the defensive line coach Tuesday.
