KSFO the Raiders new dial home

The Oakland Raiders, the Team of the Decades, will broadcast its 2004 games on KSFO 560 AM, the Bay Area's Talk Leader.

KSFO 560 AM, which has been in the top five in the last five Arbitron ratings, will be the flagship for the Raiders. The popular Bay Area talk radio station will serve as the anchor for the multi-state, multi-station Raiders Radio Network. Raider broadcasts will include extensive pre-and post-game shows as well as Raider-specific programming during the week.

"KSFO Radio is very pleased to present Oakland Raiders football on 560 AM. The long, proud tradition of the Silver and Black on a heritage Bay Area radio station like KSFO is an excellent fit," said Greg Raab, KSFO Radio Marketing Director.

KSFO Radio will launch its broadcasts of Raider games with the Silver and Black's 2004 preseason opener on Saturday, August 14 against the 49ers in San Francisco.

The Silver and Black are now in a fifth decade as pro football's winningest team. Since 1963, the Raiders have posted the best winning percentage in pro football (.619). The Raiders have played in two of the past four AFC Championship Games and represented the AFC in Super Bowl XXXVII.

KSFO 560 AM is the Bay Area's Talk Leader, committed to presenting "the news and views you won't hear anywhere else". KSFO Radio is the ABC-owned talk radio station broadcasting at 560 AM in San Francisco and throughout northern California.

Three Raiders make all-NFL Europe team

Linebacker Bobby Brooks and defensive linemen Bobby Setzer and David Nugent have been named to the All-NFL Europe Team. All three players were Raider allocations to NFL Europe for the 2004 season. Setzer is a member of the Frankfurt Galaxy, which will face the Berlin Thunder in World Bowl XII at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany at 9:00 PM PT, live on FOX. Fellow Raider allocation, linebacker Robert Chapman, also plays for the Galaxy and will compete in this year's World Bowl.

Setzer tied for second in NFL Europe in sacks with eight. Brooks was the leading tackler for the Cologne Centurions. Brooks posted 52 stops while pacing the NFL Europe's top ranked defense. Nugent placed fifth in NFL Europe in sacks with six while playing for the Rhein Fire, which ranked second in the league in defense. The All-NFLEL team is chosen by the NFLEL coaches, media and fans voting online at NFLEurope.com.
