For a team that managed just 51 yards passing, coming away with a 20-13 victory seemed unfathomable. The Oakland Raiders did just that, stretching their winning streak to two.
But the Oakland Raiders
defense intercepted Ben Roethlisberger
four times and ran two back for touchdowns.
Nnamdi Asomugha intercepted a pass in the first quarter and returned it 24 yards and Chris Carr added a 100-yard interception return in the fourth quarter to provide the final margin of victory.
Jeff Reed and Sebastian Janikowski added two field goals apiece but the story of the game remained the Oakland defense.
Derrick Burgess had 2.5 sacks and Tommy Kelly added 1.5 sacks. Kirk Morrison and Fabian Washington added interceptions to support an offense that was ineffective throughout the day.
Jerry Porter did catch one pass for 19 yards in his return to the field.
