Raiders about to deal for another QB

New York, NY-- The buzz around Radio City Music Hall, the site of the NFL Draft, again surrounds the Oakland Raiders and their quest to acquire another quarterback - it is coming close to fruition.

Sources have told Adam Caplan and Tony Pauline of Scout.com that the Josh McCown-to-Oakland deal looks good and is likely to happen before the end of the draft. It was put at about "75%" right now.

McCown has been the subject of trade rumors in the past in regards to Oakland but a deal has never been able to be struck.

McCown would become the team's starter in 2007 - and as a free agent in 2008 he beleives the move would be good for his career. It appears things are heading towards a close - one of several deals the Raiders are working on.

Oakland is still trying to trade Randy Moss and the belief is he may end up in New England. The deal will depend on Al Davis' belief that he has received proper compensation.
