Bailey was shot twice in the head on Nov. 24 in the Miami area, where he was working out while serving a four-game suspension for violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
“A couple of us are going to go down,” Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin said following his team’s win on Thursday. “We’re going to go see our brother this week, show him some love and then hopefully he can come back up here.”
The Rams followed through on that promise with a group of players visiting Bailey in Florida.
Among the Rams in the photo are Austin, who was also Bailey’s teammate at West Virginia, and then Eugene Sims, Michael Brockers, Trumaine Johnson, Mark Barron, Rodney McLeod, Todd Gurley and Benny Cunningham.
Bailey’s teammates also brought him his jersey from the Color Rush game against the Buccaneers on Thursday. He posted a photo of the jersey on his Instagram account.
Even better, Bailey posted a video on his Instagram account that showed him lightly jogging around the hospital.
