Rams RT Rob Havenstein Named to PFWA All-Rookie Team

Los Angeles Rams right tackle Rob Havenstein received an impressive accolade on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Rams' top two draft picks in 2015 both earned some honors on Tuesday from the Pro Football Writers of America.

Running back Todd Gurley, the team's first-round pick a year ago, was honored by the PFWA as the 2015 Rookie of the Year, 2015 Offensive Rookie of the Year and a member of the All-Rookie team. The team's second-round pick, offensive tackle Rob Havenstein, also landed on the All-Rookie squad.

The Havenstein selection in the second round didn't make the same kind of headlines like the Gurley pick did, but he quietly pieced together a strong rookie campaign as the team's starting right tackle. A three-year starter at the University of Wisconsin, Havenstein proved to be exactly what the Rams needed in that position.
