Rams' 2017 season opponents released

The NFL has released the next slate of opponents for the 2017 season.

The NFL on Tuesday afternoon released the preliminary schedules for the 2017 regular season setting out the opponents for each team

In light of that, Los Angeles Rams' home schedule will consist of Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers. The away game slate includes Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Cardinals, Seahawks, and 49ers.

This will feature the Rams taking part for their third time overseas in London since the league began doing so in 2007. They are expected to be the home team in a game that will occur on either Oct. 22 or 29 against the Cardinals at Twickenham Stadium.

Los Angeles could play as many as eight playoff teams from the 2016 season, including three division winners. The times and dates for these contests will be released once the NFL reveals the full 2017 season schedule next spring.
