With three more roster cuts to be made by Tuesday, the Rams are believed to be negotiating injury settlements with wide receiver Anthony Tucker (groin), tight end Alonzo Cunningham (hamstring) and defensive end Keith Washington (knee).

All were injured when the team was still in training camp in Macomb, and none are in the team's plans for the season. If a settlement cannot be reached, the player can be waived/injured and then goes on injured reserve after clearing waivers until healthy.

A player released with an injury settlement can return to the team after the 10th week of the regular season. A player on injured reserve is ineligible to play for that team the entire season. However, after being released from injured reserve, the player can sign with another team.

After waiving a player injured, the team still has five days to reach an injury settlement, and have the player eligible to return after the 10th week.
