BALTIMORE RAVENS' REPORT CARD

Quarterback: F This was an erratic performance by Joe Flacco, one of the worst of his young career. He threw four interceptions and completed just 17 of 39 throws for 154 yards with one touchdown for a 23.8 passer rating. He threw off his back foot and made some poor decisions. It looks like his mechanics are regressing

Running back: B-minus

Ray Rice got into a rhythm, rushing for 87 yards on 16 carries. He caught four passes, had a long run of 30 yards and would've scored if not for Chris Crocker's open-field tackle. Cam Cameron needs to give him the football about 10 more times per game.

Receiver: C-minus

There wasn't a ton of separation, and the entire offense looked out of sync. The worst showing was from T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Targeted six times and he failed to catch a ball.

Offensive line: D-plus

Joe Flacco was only sacked once, but was hit eight times. The run blocking was solid, but the pass protection was inconsistent. The right side of Marshal Yanda and Chris Chester is far behind the left side tandem of Michael Oher and Ben Grubbs.

Defensive line: B-plus

The Ravens were stout upfront, controlling the line of scrimmage. Cedric Benson had his moments as he gained 78 yards, but didn't contribute on a consistent basis. Carson Palmer was sacked once and never got into a huge rhythm again after a good start. Haloti Ngata and Kelly Gregg had eight and five tackles, respectively.

Linebacker: B-plus

All-Pro middle linebacker Ray Lewis led the defense with 10 tackles and one sack, but was hit with a tripping penalty when he appeared to get blocked into Carson Palmer. Terrell Suggs was flagged for a questionable roughing the passer penalty.

Secondary: A

Cornerbacks Fabian Washington, Chris Carr and Lardarius Webb applied tight coverage to Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, who combined for seven catches and 101 yards with no scores. The outcome would have probably been different if not for dropped interceptions by safeties Tom Zbikowski and Dawan Landry.

Special teams: C

Tom Zbikowski averaged 6.2 yards per punt return and Jalen Parmele averaged 30.7 yards per kickoff return. However, the Ravens allowed a 60-yard kickoff return to Bernard Scott. Sam Koch averaged 36.7 yards
