Quarterback: A-minus Joe Flacco calmly delivered the signature game-winning drive of his young career, marching the Ravens downfield with four consecutive completions. Flacco's touchdown strike to T.J. Houshmandzadeh put the game away for his first victory in Pittsburgh.

Running back: C

Statistically, it's nothing glittering. Baltimore rushed for 70 yards on 27 carries. However, Willis McGahee showed vision on his nine-yard touchdown run. And Ray Rice, who had a bruised knee as well as McGahee and fullback Le'Ron McClain (stringers) displayed grit by toughing it out through injuries. They also contributed as pass-blockers.

Receiver: A-minus

T.J. Houshmandzadeh caught the game-winning touchdown in stride, making a nice adjustment on his route. Anquan Boldin caught seven passes for 68 yards. And Derrick Mason contributed six catches for 80 yards, including an acrobatic, bobbling reception.

Offensive line: B

Joe Flacco was only sacked once by an intimidating front seven headlined by two Pro Bowl outside linebackers in James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley. Neither recorded a sack and only Woodley had a quarterback hit. Flacco was provided sufficient time to find his receivers and picked apart a suspect secondary.

Defensive line: B-plus

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was extremely active with a team-high 11 tackles, one sack, two tackles for losses and two quarterback hits. He was unblockable. With Cory Redding out, Paul Kruger had a sack and forced fumble negated by a penalty. Kelly Gregg was stout in the middle.

Linebacker: B

Ray Lewis notched nine tackles, an interception to seal the game and had two pass deflections. Terrell Suggs registered a sack and a tackle for a loss. Jameel McClain had five tackles and a key pass deflection. Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown, but it took him 25 carries to do so.

Secondary: B

Lardarius Webb guarded dangerous receiver Mike Wallace closely, holding him to two catches for 24 yards. Fabian Washington struggled against Antwaan Randle El, who caught a 34-yard pass on him to set up the Steelers' lone touchdown.

Special teams: C-plus

The kick coverage was sound. Punter Sam Koch averaged 42 yards per boot, downing three inside the Steelers' 20-yard line. Tom Zbikowski averaged 6.3 yards per punt return. Jalen Parmele averaged 21.0 yards per kickoff return. Billy Cundiff connected on a 33-yard field goal after missing a 46-yard try wide right into the challenging open end of the stadium. Steelers kicker Jeff Reed missed from 49 and 45 yards in the second half.
