BALTIMORE RAVENS' REPORT CARD

Quarterback: B Joe Flacco began the game out of sync, but woke up from his funk. He completed 16 of 31 passes for 250 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 111.0 quarterback rating. His flea-flicker touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin was a major momentum-swinger.

Running back: B

The Ravens probably should have ran the football more against the NFL's worst run defense. Even with only 29 runs, the Ravens still gained 135 yards and scored one touchdown on the ground. Ray Rice rushed for 72 yards on 16 carries. One week removed from being benched, Willis McGahee gained 64 yards on 11 carries and scored a touchdown.

Receiver: B

Still feeling the effects of last week's vicious hit from Brandon Meriweather, tight end Todd Heap caught two touchdowns passes. Anquan Boldin hauled in six passes for 92 yards and one touchdown. Derrick Mason dealt with a finger and ankle injury, catching two passes for 48 yards. Offensive line: B

Joe Flacco was only sacked twice. He was under very little duress, only being hit twice. There were some big holes for the running backs to rumble through. Defensive line: D

Ryan Fitzpatrick had way too much time to throw. He was only sacked once and picked apart the Ravens' secondary for four touchdown passes. The Bills also rushed for 132 yards on 35 carries as Fred Jackson gained 73 yards.

Linebacker: C-minus

Middle linebacker Ray Lewis recorded 15 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Jarret Johnson had nine tackles, one for a loss. Terrell Suggs had six tackles, two for losses. They needed more of a pass rush from him, though, and he didn't deliver against a substandard offensive line.

Secondary: F

They allowed four touchdown passes, three to Lee Evans. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 29 of 43 passes for 374 yards and a 106.2 quarterback rating. Cornerback Fabian Washington was burn so often the coaches had to bench him and replaced him with Josh Wilson. Lardarius Webb was beaten badly on a touchdown. If not for two interceptions from safety Ed Reed in his first game back after being activated from the physically unable to perform list, the Ravens probably lose this game. He also forced a fumble. The secondary has to improve if the Ravens are going to make a serious playoff run.

Special teams: C

Josh Wilson fumbled a kickoff away. Between Wilson and Jalen Parmele, the Ravens averaged only 16.6 yards on eight kickoffs. Billy Cundiff hit the game-winning field goal in overtime. The Ravens contained dangerous kickoff returner C.J. Spiller. Sam Koch averaged 44.2 yards per punt, downing three inside the 20-yard line.
