Yo! Joe Flacco

OWINGS MILLS -- Yo, here's the Situation. Actually, it's just Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco channeling his Jersey Shore roots. The native of Audubon, N.J., got a special Jersey Shore-themed haircut for a charity Halloween party Monday night

The native of Audubon, N.J., got a special Jersey Shore-themed haircut for a charity Halloween party Monday night.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is sporting a Jersey Shore-inspired haircut that he got for the team's charity Halloween event. Flacco has racing stripes shaved into the side of his haircut with arrows pointing toward the back of his head.

On the back of his head, Flacco is sporting a design of the state of New Jersey. "I saw a recent haircut of ‘The Situation', and he had some designs in it, so I thought, ‘Hey that would be fun to do,'" said Flacco, who usually vacations down at the shore. "I'm going to cut all of this off, I'm going to cut this off just like I get my normal haircut when I go home this week, but all the designs will still be in there." Flacco got the haircut at linebacker Tavares Gooden's favorite barber shop for the Ravens' annual Goodwill Gridiron Halloween party. The party was hosted by tight end Todd Heap, offensive tackle Michael Oher and senior vice president of public and community. relations Kevin Byrne.

The haircut took an hour and 40 minutes to complete. "I don't think the coaches know how to react to it," Flacco said. "I'm just having a little bit of fun. I really came up with the idea." Flacco said he's a fan of the popular MTV show, which features over-the-top characters like The Situation, J-Woww, Snookie and Paulie D. "I watch it a little bit, and it's funny," Flacco said.

Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis smilwed when asked about Flacco's new look. "When you're young, you can do things like that," Lewis said.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin wouldn't mind seeing Flacco keep the 'do for the remainder of the season.

It was strange to see a low-key guy like Flacco embrace his inner fist-pumper MTV style. "I'm trying to get him to wear it for the rest of the year," Boldin said. "You know, switch up the designs a little bit, but keep that overall haircut for the rest of the year
