Lewis to host bowling event, Billick heads clinic

OWINGS MILLS – Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is hosting his second annual celebrity bowling event today and Friday. Bowlers include Shannon Sharpe, Rod Woodson, Evander Holyfield, Deion Sanders, LaVar Arrington, Derrick Brooks, Jevon Kearse, Fred Taylor, Bruce Smith and several Ravens. Tonight at Martins West, Lewis is hosting a cocktail party open to the public that includes an auction with signed memorabilia from Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan..

Joe Montana, Cal Ripken Jr., Holyfield, Barry Bonds and Allen Iverson.

On Friday, the bowling event, which isn't open to the public, will be held at Normandy Brunswick Lanes in Ellicott City between 6 and 9:30 p.m. For ticket information, call 410-576-8343. Proceeds benefit Lewis' foundation to support at-risk youth.

COACHING CLINIC: Ravens coach Brian Billick will host the NFL Coaches Association clinic for high school coaches on May 17 at M&T Bank Stadium from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The clinic features a general information session with college and professional coaches with separate sessions on offense, defense and special teams.

The program fee is $20 per coach. Coaches can register by phone at 410-654-6262 or at the stadium on the day of the clinic.
