BALTIMORE — Joe Flacco's negotiating price for a new contract just went up.
And it went up with the backing of his coach, John Harbaugh.
"Pay him whatever he asks for," Harbaugh said. "You hear that Steve (Bisciotti)? Pay the man."
Flacco, standing in the same room, looked at the media and responded: "Y'all heard that."
Flacco completed 21 of 29 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 44-13 victory over the Bengals. Flacco directed the uptempo, no-huddle offense at will through the night. His best throw came on a 34-yard touchdown to receiver Anquan Boldin over the middle of the field.
Flacco also threw a jump ball touchdown to tight end Dennis Pitta, with a defender in his face.
"It was a lot of fun, you can't lie about that," Flacco said. "We didn't get that many drives, really, but we were efficient enough that we put points on the board."
The Ravens began the game with a big play, with Flacco connecting to receiver Torrey Smith for a 52-yard gain. Baltimore settled for a field goal on The Opening drive, but got the ball back quick after the defense forced a three-and-out.
Flacco then led the offense down the field on a 12-play, 63-yard drive that was capped off with a seven-yard run from Ray Rice, putting Baltimore up 10-0. The Bengals answered with a Mike Nugent field goal to cut the lead to 10-3, but Flacco answered again with his touchdown throw to Boldin -- which was upheld on review.
The Bengals cut the lead to 17-10 with a BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushing touchdown near the end of the first half. Cincinnati added a field goal at the beginning of the second half to cut the lead to 17-13, but that's where it ended for the Bengals.
Pitta caught his touchdown to put Baltimore up 24-13. Rookie kicker Justin Tucker added his second field goal of the game to put the Ravens up 27-13 a possession later.
Shortly after, safety Ed Reed intercepted a pass from Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and returned it 34 yards for a touchdown. This gave Reed the all-time interception return yards record (1,497), passing former NFL defensive back Rod Woodson (1,483).
Rice added a second rushing touchdown early in the fourth quarter and Tucker added the game's final points with his third field goal at the 3:03 mark.
