The Ravens and the 49ers will not be able to practice at M&T Bank Stadium on Aug. 8 in front of the public as originally planned.
Due to the collective bargaining agreement, teams are unable to participate in football-related activities for five days in a row.
This practice was a scheduled walkthrough that was to come a day after the Ravens and 49ers squared off against each other in a preseason game.
As a result, the two teams will not practice in front of fans. However, they will still take part in three practices from Aug. 9-11.
For fans hoping to catch this practice, they'll have to switch gears and try to make it out to the one this Monday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
“We’re very disappointed for fans who were planning to attend Friday’s practice against the 49ers,” Ravens team president Dick Cass said in a statement. “We hope some of them will be able to come to the practice at Navy on Monday.”
