Ravens defeat Redskins 23-17

Joe Flacco threw 180 yards in two quarters during Baltimore's 23-17 win over Washington Saturday night.

Joe Flacco dropped back to throw and found a receiver streaking down the right sideline.

That receiver was Steve Smith, Baltimore's top free agent signing this offseason. Smith, with under 30 seconds to go in the first half, blew down the field before diving to catch Flacco's throw for a 24-yard touchdown.

Flacco and Smith both had impressive games in Baltimore's 23-17 win over the Redskins on Saturday night.

In addition to the touchdown they connected on, Flacco threw for 180 passing yards and Smith caught six passes for 80 yards. The duo seemed in sync with one another in the third preseason game, when both teams' starters get the majority of the reps.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk also finished with five receptions for 53 yards.

The Ravens improved to 3-0 in the preseason with the win. They'll end the exhibition season on the road against New Orleans next Thursday.
