Bengals sweep Ravens with 27-24 win on Sunday

The Bengals defeated the Ravens for the second time this season on Sunday, getting a 27-24 win to put them in first place of the AFC North.

The Cincinnati Bengals rallied late to defeat the Baltimore Ravens 27-24 at home on Sunday.

With the Ravens holding a 24-20 lead late in the fourth quarter, quarterback Andy Dalton found receiver Mohamed Sanu deep for a 53-yard completion. Dalton capped the drive with a touchdown on a quarterback sneak on a fourth down with 57 seconds remaining.

The Ravens (5-3) had a chance late, though what would have been an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Joe Flacco to receiver Steve Smith was called back due to offensive pass interference.

Flacco finished the game 17-of-34 for 195 yards and two interceptions. Running back Justin Forsett carried the ball 17 times for 68 yards. Backup running back Lorenzo Taliaferro ran the ball seven times for 27 yards and scored two touchdowns. Taliaferro also added two receptions for 42 yards.

The Bengals (4-2-1) were without receiver A.J. Green, though Sanu came up big in his absence. Sanu finished his day with five receptions for 125 yards.

The Bengals' win moves them into first place in the AFC North.
