Steelers rout Ravens 43-23

The Ravens lost to the Steelers on the road 43-23 Sunday night.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 25 of 37 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns in a 43-23 rout over the Ravens at Heinz Field on Sunday night.

The Ravens had no answer for Roethlisberger once he got going midway through the second quarter. Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed 30-of-45 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns, but with a costly interception in the second quarter that led to a Steelers score. Running back Lorenzo Taliaferro lost a fumble in the second quarter as well. The Ravens were penalized 10 times for 108 yards in a sloppy game.

The Ravens (5-4) drop to last place as a result of the loss.

Baltimore will host Tennessee next week.
