Ravens beat Steelers 30-17 in Wild Card round

The Ravens advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs with a win over Pittsburgh Saturday night.

Joe Flacco completed 18 of 29 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-17 Wild Card round win over the Steelers Saturday night.

The win advances the Ravens to the Divisional Round, where they'll play the New England Patriots.

The Ravens got a great game from their front seven, which sacked Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger five times. Outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil had two and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw and defensive tackle Brandon Williams had one apiece.

With Baltimore up 23-15 in the fourth quarter, and the Steelers facing a third-and-4, the Ravens forced Roethlisberger into a hurried throw, which tipped off of running back Ben Tate's fingertips. The ball fell into the body of outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, who then caught it in between his legs.

On the next play, Flacco found tight end Crockett Gillmore for a 21-yard touchdown.

Steve Smith led Ravens receivers with 101 yards on five receptions. Roethlisberger finished the day 31-45 for 334 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Steelers receiver Antonio Brown had nine catches for 117 yards.
